luckily I only spent about 12 bucks, but I would have liked a response. I tried to return this as it wasn't what the recipient wanted. I followed the directions for returning this item, which was to e-mail the company but they never returned my e-mail.
Thus, you are paying for more than is usable. However, battery cover shipped with this item does not fit Etrex Vista CX since it does not have the proper cutout/indentation to make room for the expansion microchip which is inserted to the side of the batteries with the cover removed. This item comes with what is intended to be a spare battery cover. Belt clip works very well and stub screws into the back of the existing battery cover.
